Daystar for Medically Fragile Children is New York State’s only pediatric day-respite center designed specifically to meet the needs of families with children as young as six months through age five who are coping with serious medical conditions and developmental complexities. Daystar’s comprehensive model provides skilled pediatric nursing services, therapeutic support, group and individualized early education programs, and family training and support services in a joyful and socially engaging environment. Daystar operates year-round, Monday – Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. Daystar is located at 700 Lac De Ville Boulevard, Rochester, NY 14618 and is an independent, charitable non-profit organization and ministry of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Rochester.
