Contra dancing is a type of folk dance similar to a square dancing, except instead of the square formation it is danced in lines of couples, with every other couple facing up or down the hall. Dancers of all ages and levels of experience are welcome.
Great activity for families with Teens! Beginner’s lesson before the dance and live music every week. Drug and alcohol free event.
When: Every Thursday, 7:30 - 10:30 PM. Beginner’s Lesson at 7:15.
Where: Covenant United Methodist Church (1124 Culver Rd). Entrance is from the parking lot in the rear. Ring the doorbell and you’ll be buzzed in.
Admission: $9 ($8 members and students, $2 ages 17 & under. All children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.)
