Rochester has more than 3,500 acres of nationally recognized parks where community members can explore, play, enjoy entertainment and seek solace amongst natural beauty. Seneca Park Zoo Society is partnering with the City of Rochester’s Department of Recreation and Youth Services to sponsor a series of ‘park clean-up events’ along the Genesee Riverway Trail. All volunteer events take place on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tools, gloves, and snacks will be provided. Please dress for the weather and bring water to stay hydrated.
Meet at Durand Eastman Beach (1342 Lake Shore Blvd.) and park in the farther east parking lot towards Log Cabin Road.
Get outside, get active, and get involved in making Rochester a greener, cleaner City!
