We are all familiar with Baby Showers. So why not one for our furry newborns? Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester is holding a public event to elicit donations from the public to prepare for kitten season.
Kitten Shower at Lollypop Farm
Members of the public will be encouraged to come bring a donation needed to foster kittens coming into Lollypop Farm. Those bringing a gift or a donation of $1 or more to Lollypop Farm’s main location in Fairport will receive a piece of cake and have the opportunity to meet with some of our newest arrivals.
Each spring and summer, hundreds of kittens are born and will be brought to Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, in search of a new home. Many will come in just days after being born and will require special care including bottle feeding every couple hours. Donated items during the kitten shower will go towards care for the continuous litters of kittens being brought to the organization and fostered by our volunteers.
