Home School Nature Series– Montezuma Van Tour
Homeschoolers ages 5-12 will ride in the MAC van and tour the Montezuma Wetlands Complex. Spring migration is underway and the marshes, ponds, fields and lakes are teeming with waterfowl. Students will improve their birding ID skills while viewing massive flocks of Snow Geese, Tundra Swans and other birds during their long journey.
Fee: $8/student.
Snowshoeing, Live Animal Programs, and Birdwatching Tours will Feature Montezuma’s Birds and Other Wildlife
The Montezuma Audubon Center’s programs are a great way to explore the winter wonderland with friends and family! Join the Hot Cocoa and Snow programs to explore the wild side of Montezuma on snowshoes.
Hop in the van and tour Montezuma to experience majestic Bald Eagles, Hawks, Owls and waterfowl. Don’t miss the live owls that will be the stars of the Owl Prowl program.
You can also rent snowshoes to explore the winter landscape on your own. Space is limited and registration is required for all programs. Programs will proceed with or without snow.
