Join us for our annual road races, dog walk, and pet festival to help raise funds and awareness for Animal Services. The races run simultaneously with staggered starts beginning at 8 a.m. and 8:15 a.m., so pick the one that is best for you.
Stick around after the races for food and refreshments, live music, the 1-mile dog walk and pet festival.
As with last year, the event will include discounted pet adoptions throughout the day, free rabies and canine distemper-parvovirus vaccinations, and free pet microchipping.

Cost:
5K: $20 in advance, $25 race day
10K: $25 advance, $30 race day
Dog Walk: $25 adults, $5 children 10 and under
Pet Contests: $2 per category

Free parking in Kodak Lot D. Enter parking lot from Oak Street with access from Jay Street, Smith Street, or Plank Street from Broad and Allen.
Ticket Information:
Register for the event online. Packet pick up for runners and walkers will be available 11 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports at The Armory 155 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14607.

Street Closures:
Several roads will close during the race from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.

- Plymouth Ave. (Closed from Inner Loop toJay St. and from Broad to Exchange Blvd,Open southbound from Inner Loop to Main St.)
- Spring St. (at Plymouth)
- Atkinson (at Plymouth)
- Exchange Blvd. (Main St. to Ford St.)
- Troup St. (Plymouth to Exchange)
- Court St. (South Ave. to Exchange)
- Broad St. (Exchange to Plymouth Ave.)
- Main St. (State St. to Plymouth Ave.)
- Fitzhugh St. (Main to Church St.)
- Fitzhugh St. (Troup to Plymouth)
Note: Verona Street between Jay St. and Brown St. will be closed 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Refer to the driving directions to avoid street closings and delays when heading to the event location and designated parking lot.
Weather Specifics:
Rain or shine. Event directors will make decision about postponing or cancellation for inclement weather. The event will not be rescheduled and no refunds will be provided.
Food Offerings:
Post-race hospitality including bottled water, bagels, apples, bananas, nutrition bars.
Food trucks and food carts will be set up throughout Brown Square Park offering a variety of options including hot dogs, hamburgers, sausages, mac 'n cheese, sandwiches, sushi, wraps, and more.
